Alvey
Alvey, the "Masters in Industrial Automation", has 40 years of expertise in the field of industrial automation project design (palletisation, distribution, industrial software, after-sales service projects).
Based at two sites in France (Ploemeur-56 & Gardanne -13) and one in East-Flanders (Oudenaarde), Alvey currently has nearly 130 employees. In Belgium, Alvey will soon take possession of new, state-of-the-art premises (2012/2013), a real asset for a promising future.
Alvey always works in close cooperation with its customers, to whom it offers palletisation and computer-integrated material handling solutions through the design of fully automated turnkey facilities based on the latest innovation and technology in the various sectors of industry and distribution: Food processing (frozen vegetables, dairy products, fresh produce, meat & poultry, chips, ice cream, bread, tea, coffee, etc.) - Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics - Building Materials - Press & newspapers - non-alcoholic beverages - Tobacco, etc.
For all of these sectors, each new facility faces challenges: fast production rates - complex palletisation or order-picking projects - multi-line and/or end-of-line systems - short lead times...
Palletisation: Alvey offers simple, efficient systems which are compatible with the most demanding conditions (refrigerated environment as low as -30°C, difficult-to-process products and/or packaging, very tight deadlines...). Alvey builds highly reliable palletisers at very high speeds to palletise cardboard boxes, containers, trays, bundles of bottles, newspapers & magazines, jars, etc. - in multi-line systems (multiple production lines grouped towards a single palettiser) or end-of-line systems (one palettiser per production line).
Distribution: Alvey offers custom order-picking solutions for any industrial sector (spare parts, textile products, e-commerce, distance selling, cosmetics, books & newspapers, food products, etc.) with handling, storage and order-picking systems (pick-to-light, pick-to-voice, pick-to-belt, voice picking…) to provide its customers a comprehensive response – from goods receipt to automatic truck loading.
Alvey has designed its own software suite – MAESTRO+, the modules of which can either be linked to one particular activity, such as palletisation (Pallet Factory) or distribution (Router, Pick&Pack, Pick-To-Light, WCC-Store, Maintenance), or work as a general management tool (reporting, alarm management, maintenance and other applications of the same type).
Alvey also offers its customers a full after-sales service comprising customer service, 24-7 phone assistance, spare parts at competitive prices, maintenance contracts with guaranteed response time, operator and maintenance staff training, and for the facilities: full on-site or remote management and surveillance
